The atmospheric skin of the city

Abstract

For the production of this Portuguese version of the text “The atmospheric “skin” of the city”, by Tonino Griffero, published by Routledge in 2013 through the International Ambiances Network, it was decided between the translator and the author that the set of large paragraphs full of questions and textual developments would be maintained, in addition to the hybridism of terms, in order to express the original form and “anatomy” of the author's thoughts. For the realization of this translation, the translator and Revista Thésis would like to thank the Ambiances Network and the Research UMR 1563 - Ambiances Architecturales et Urbaines, in the person of profs. Jean-Paul Thibaud, Damien Masson and Rainer Kazig, and the author, Prof. Tonino Griffero – who kindly provided the version and publication rights.
