Abstract

Two Monumental Doors were built for the Centenary International Exhibition, held in Rio de Janeiro in 1922. The competitions for the choice of projects and the construction of these monuments are analyzed here as indicative and revealing elements of a series of issues related to the architectural panorama. of that moment and the Centenary Exhibition.
