The doctoral thesis by researcher Joice Genaro Gomes, defended at FAU-USP in November 2021, under the guidance of professor Susana Pasternak, received the Anparq Theses Prize in 2022. It is research of unique quality, it has significant
intellectual and academic merits, but, certainly, the greatest of its attributes is the contribution it brings to the field of Architecture and Urbanism in terms of thinking about a method and putting it into practice throughout its 219 pages.
