Abstract

This paper examines the underlying theoretical and methodological approaches for information managament and visualization concerning the website “Foreign Architects in Rio de Janeiro in the 20th Century” and the related book “Foreign Presence: Architecture in Rio de Janeiro 1905-1942”. Both works originate from the same research about foreign architects and cultural exchanges in Rio de Janeiro, coordinated by the authors in the Laboratory of Urban Analysis and Digital Representation of the Graduate Program in Urbanism of FAU-UFRJ.
